The YESCO designed and manufactured video scoreboard at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah went up a few weeks ago. It is 122' wide x 64' tall. The LED board was supplied by PrismView, A Samsung Electronics Company. The opening event for the video board and sound system was the stunt driving Nitro World Games on July 16.
YESCO was honored to receive the Best of State Legacy Award. The award was presented at the Best State Awards Gala held May 18, 2016 at the Salt Lake Convention Center Grand Ballroom in Salt Lake City, Utah. Best of State is the premier recognition and awards program with the mission of recognizing outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah.
"The Legacy Award honors recipients who are major promoters of the Best of State program while endeavoring to ensure the success and quality of life to make the world a better place and impact those in the local community," said Mark Layton, Director of Best of State. "YESCO is only the second company in Utah history to be awarded the Legacy Award."
"We are thankful for you all who are friends, customers, who are very proud to be citizens of this great community and I hope that this wonderful movement of the Best of State can keep going forward. We thank you for your efforts and the fine honor that we are being paid tonight," said Thomas Young Jr, Chairman of the Board, when he accepted the award on behalf of the company.
YESCO has been privileged to be a sponsor and contributor to the Utah Best of State for the past several years.
