YESCO launched construction for its large new St. George manufacturing facility at a groundbreaking ceremony on August 2, 2007. The morning ceremony was held at the construction site (4640 S. River Road) in the Ft. Pierce Industrial Park. Officials of the southern Utah city joined members of YESCO's branch and corporate teams at the event.

St. George Mayor Daniel D. McArthur, Watts Construction President Doug Watts and YESCO Chairman Thomas Young Jr. were among the speakers at the morning ceremony.

The 55,000 square foot building will replace the existing plant, which has served the area since 1978. It reflects YESCO's commitment to southern Utah - a loyalty that has remained strong since company founder Thomas Young began making service trips to St. George in the early 1920's.
