Upward and Onward in St. George
St. George, Utah
YESCO's large new St. George manufacturing facility is rapidly taking shape!
Visitors to the construction site in the Ft. Pierce Industrial Park at 4679 S. River Road will see 788 yards of recently poured concrete in the production area. They will also notice that the building's steel structure is rising from the foundations and is being faced with brick.
"Construction is moving along nicely," reports Ray Draper, YESCO St. George branch manager. "Our permanent transformer has been installed, which is large enough to accommodate the current building and future additions. The lot is graded and ready to have curbing installed as soon as it dries from some recent rain storms."
"The production area should be ready to use by the first of March," adds Randy Campbell, the branch's production supervisor. "The office area will come on line not long after that."
The new St. George facility, which is being built by Watts Construction, will replace the existing manufacturing plant that which has served the area for decades. The project reflects YESCO's commitment to southern Utah.
