The inaugural American Red Cross Giving Day was held on June 2, 2015. The event was designed to celebrate all the good that the organization and its volunteers do every day. A total of $2.45 million was raised during the 24-hour period.
The fund raiser rallied the public to support the American Red Cross mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
“We cannot thank YESCO enough for their most generous support of the American Red Cross. Our Giving Day was a huge success exceeding our expectations nationally and locally. The YESCO billboard campaign undoubtedly contributed to that and many supporters commented that they saw the ads,” said Heidi Ruster, American Red Cross Utah Region CEO.
