Understanding Electronics | Communication Methods
YESCO offers a number of different communication methods to ensure you are always in control of your sign(s). All methods rely on communication between a host computer loaded with PrismView™ software and a remote located inside your sign.
CAT5
Distance: 350' Maximum
YESCO provides router at host location.Customer to provide CAT5 cable.
Fiber Optics
Distance: 1500' Maximum
YESCO provides a transceiver at host and display remote. Customer to provide fiber optic cable: 6 strand multi-mode glass with ST connectors installed and tested on all ends.
Cellular
Distance: Unlimited
YESCO provides internal wireless cards at host and displays. Customer provides cell phone service to display.
Phone Modem
Distance: Unlimited
YESCO provides (2) internal modems. Customer provides phone service to display.
NOTE: Because of transmission speed, use for small displays only.
R.F. Wireless
Distance: 350' Line of sight (no obstructions)
YESCO provides R.F. Modems for both ends. Customer provides wiring from host to roof for antenna
NOTE: It is required that a visual test be run to ensure there are no obstructions before placing an order for this option.
