Interpretation can be transparent and natural, bringing visitors into an experience and connecting what they already know with a new way of thinking. We want to show visitors the real thing and help them understand why it's important. It is important to understand that people at various age levels learn things differently. The key is to layer information in order to engage all visitors at all age levels. With good interpretation, the lights come on, the connection is made, the past becomes real, the present is understood and the goal of interpretation is realized. |
