Jeff Young, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of YESCO along with Brody Macey, a representative from Lifetime Products, a Clearfield, Utah based company were interviewed on Good Morning Utah ABC4 News. The interview covered highlights from a Salt Lake City Council meeting held January 4, 2012. Salt Lake City is proposing a ban on animation and other limitations on electronic signs.
YESCO joined business leaders, community leaders and others in speaking out about the recent proposal. Thirty-four concerned citizens spoke in favor of allowing animation on signs while only two spoke in favor of the ban.
The City Council is scheduled to render a decision as early as January 17, 2012.
