YESCO Los Angeles recently updated the iconic SONY PICTURES water tower. The lighting systems were converted to LED lamps. Fixtures surrounding the tower and channel letters now cast light on the belly of the water tower and the entire system can be programmed for customized light shows. A new FAA-approved LED beacon light at the top of the structure was also installed.
The water tower has been a symbol of SONY PICTURES since 1937 and is designated with “significant” status by the City of Culver City, California for its historical importance.
YESCO has maintained the display for the past 15 years. We are excited to have done the lighting retrofit and to have the opportunity to keep it shining bright for years to come.
