YESCO recently completed a custom monument sign installation in Helena, Montana, giving the property a modern identification sign with both architectural character and digital messaging capabilities.

The new single-face monument sign features routed push-through acrylic letters with internal LED illumination, creating dimensional, highly visible identification during the day and after dark. A Watchfire 10mm electronic message center (EMC) was also incorporated into the design, allowing the organization to easily display changing messages and information.

To help the new sign complement the surrounding property, brick columns were constructed to coordinate with the architecture of the existing building.

Combining Architectural Signage with Digital Technology

Monument signs are designed to create a permanent, ground-level identification point at the entrance to a property. For this project, the sign combines traditional architectural elements with modern sign technology.

Removing the Previous Pylon Sign

The project also included removing and disposing of the property’s existing pylon sign, which was located in a different area of the site.

Replacing an older sign system with a custom monument sign provided an opportunity to update not only the property’s appearance, but also its capabilities through LED illumination and an integrated digital display.
