Salt Lake 2002- 20 Years
February 8, 2002 marks 20 years since the Opening Ceremony of the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
To create the “look of the games” YESCO was assigned to engineer massive signs and building wraps for Salt Lake City. We installed 13 banners in downtown Salt Lake that made for a perfect host city environment. And of course, the Mountain-lit Olympic rings -that sat 500 feet horizontally and 160 feet in diameter- became the iconic image of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
To create the signs for such a monumental event is a chapter of YESCO’s history that will be remembered for many years to come.
