Douglas County is recognized as the hidden gem of Northern Nevada.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In these turbulent and troubling times, it&#8217;s only fitting that we recognize and fortify the very principle upon which our country was founded,&#8221; said Vice Chairman Larry Walsh. Walsh introduced the idea to the board and chose the design.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commissioner Elect Mark Gardner raised over $500 for the funding for the new display. YESCO designed the display and includes the Douglas County logo.
