YESCO Reno recently completed a multi-part neon and exterior sign lighting repair<\/strong> for Great Basin Brewing Co. on South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With several different lighting issues across three sides of the property, the project is a good example of how commercial sign maintenance often involves more than fixing a single outage. YESCO addressed neon, gooseneck fixtures, floodlights, and exterior sign illumination as part of the same service project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three Elevations, Several Different Lighting Systems<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the initial service visit, YESCO evaluated lighting issues across the north, south, and west elevations of the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the north elevation, the center floodlight was noticeably dim. The south elevation had a complete outage affecting the neon \u201cRESTAURANT\u201d signage, while two gooseneck fixtures were out on the west elevation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each type of lighting serves a slightly different purpose. Neon provides distinctive illuminated identification, while gooseneck and flood lighting can illuminate signs and architectural features externally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restoring the Neon & Exterior Lighting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Following the initial diagnostics, YESCO returned to complete the repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three neon units were reinstalled on the south elevation, restoring the affected neon display. On the west elevation, seven lamps were removed and replaced\u2014four gooseneck lamps and three floodlights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing multiple lighting systems during the same project helped restore a more consistent nighttime appearance across the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
