YESCO completely refurbished the iconic \u201cWendover Will\u201d neon cowboy sign with LED technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of this project was to preserve Wendover Will and his historic value. The city of Wendover consulted with YESCO’s design team to find a custom lighting solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Retained by the City of West Wendover \u2013 which is located on Nevada\u2019s eastern border \u2013 YESCO was tasked with replacing 1,184 feet of neon tubing with principal flex and RGB flex LED lighting to mimic the signs original look and feel. The new LED lighting also requires less maintenance and is more energy efficient than the neon tubing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 71-year-old landmark was also refreshed with a bright new coat of paint to match the original color scheme. Additionally, YESCO removed the existing letters at the base of the sign and installed new letters with the inclusion of the illuminated \u201cDowntown\u201d pan channel letters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
