YESCO recently completed a multi-part signage update for HAPO Community Credit Union in Kennewick, Washington, refreshing both the property’s street-side pole sign and building signage.

The project included manufacturing and installing two new flexible faces for the double-sided pole sign along West Clearwater Avenue, temporarily removing and reinstalling a set of HAPO building letters during exterior building work, and removing outdated “Community Center” identification above the main entrance.

New Flexible Faces for the Pole Sign

The street-side pole sign previously displayed “Community Center” branding. YESCO manufactured two new flexible sign faces featuring reverse-cut black vinyl copy reading “HAPO Community Credit Union.”

The existing faces were removed and disposed of before the new customer-approved faces were installed on both sides of the sign.

Refacing an existing pole sign can be an effective way to update property branding while continuing to use a sign structure that’s already in place.

Removing, Storing & Reinstalling Building Letters

The building itself was also undergoing exterior repairs and painting, which meant the existing HAPO letters needed to temporarily come down.

Before removal, YESCO created an installation pattern to preserve the exact positioning of the letter set. The letters were then removed and stored at the YESCO shop while the building work was completed.

Once the exterior repairs and painting were finished, the HAPO letters could be returned and reinstalled in their original configuration.

Updating the Main Entrance

YESCO also removed and disposed of the existing “Community Center” portion of the building letter display above the main customer entrance.

Together, the updates help transition the property’s exterior signage to consistent HAPO Community Credit Union branding across both the building and roadside identification.
