Signs, Lighting & Billboards in Salt Lake City, Utah

The Star Style Shop sign on 250 South Main Street was one of the first large signs Thomas Young sold in Salt Lake City.  The 1937 sale convinced him that his Ogden-based business had a bright future in Utah’s capital.  He opened a shop on Social Hall Avenue and the company has never looked back!

It would be impossible to name all of the signs, lighting, and billboards YESCO has manufactured, installed and serviced in the Salt Lake area.  Here are just a few of the icons you may remember: Dee’s Hamburgers, Snelgrove Ice Cream, First Security Bank, ZCMI, countless auto dealers, movie theaters, office complexes, hotels and the new Shops at Southtowne signs.

Have you seen the state-of-the-art video scoreboard at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the campus of the University of Utah? The structure includes a digital display provided by Prismview integrated by YESCO. It towers 139′ above the stadium and can be seen from the I-15/201 Interchange and also features a 50′ tall block “U”.
