YESCO Announces Retirement of Steve Jones Following Three Decades of Service

YESCO announced the retirement of Steve Jones who officially concludes his distinguished career of more than 32 years of service on July 31, 2025. Throughout his esteemed career, Steve held numerous leadership roles and left a lasting impact on YESCO’s legacy. From his early days in Ogden, Utah, as assistant manager and outdoor manager to his later appointment as president of YESCO Custom Signs, Steve brought vision, stability and compassion to every position he held.

Throughout his time with the company, Steve was instrumental in driving growth and innovation. As vice president and Los Angeles manager, he not only led the transformation of the operation from a small team into one of YESCO’s largest but also developed and implemented a service and maintenance program that became the model for the entire organization, including YESCO’s service franchise that has now expanded operations across North America.

From 2010 to 2013, Steve temporarily stepped away from YESCO to serve as mission president of the Texas San Antonio Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alongside his wife, Suzanne, he oversaw the day-to-day work of more than 500 missionaries and 50 couples. Upon his return, he took charge of YESCO’s 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) initiative, helping teams align around core goals and execute on the company’s most important priorities.

In 2013, amid the Great Recession, Steve was named president of YESCO Custom Signs and led a company-wide reorganization to streamline operations and strengthen accountability. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of YESCO Sign and Lighting Service, continuing to mentor colleagues and champion strategic initiatives.

“Steve led with quiet confidence, a steady hand and a remarkable ability to uplift everyone around him,” said Michael T. Young, chairman of the board, YESCO. “His impact can be seen not only in our company’s success but also in the people who have grown under his guidance. We’ll miss him tremendously, but we are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.”

As YESCO looks to the future, the company does so with deep gratitude for Steve’s service, leadership and unwavering commitment to its mission and people.
