Jeff Young Receives World Sign Associates Humanitarian Award

YESCO is pleased to share that Chief Revenue Officer Jeff Young has been honored with the World Sign Associates (WSA) Humanitarian Award. The award was presented during the association’s 79th Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Humanitarian Award is WSA’s highest honor, designated to recognize members who demonstrate exceptional personal and professional integrity, benevolent leadership, and a lasting commitment to serving others. Jeff is only the third recipient of this award in WSA history, with previous honors awarded in 2009 and 2013.

“Being part of a family business with more than 100 years of history is something we take great pride in,” said Mike Young, Chairman of the Board for YESCO. “As the third generation following our grandfather, Thomas Young, Jeff continues to build on that legacy through his commitment to the sign industry and the people who make it special. We’re pleased to see his contributions recognized in this way.“

A third-generation leader at YESCO, Jeff has dedicated his career to advancing the sign industry. His extensive leadership roles include serving as Past President of WSA (2014–2015) and former Chairman of the International Sign Association (ISA).

Throughout his career, Jeff has consistently advocated for fair sign regulations across North American municipalities and served as a trusted mediator to resolve complex challenges between clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.

Among WSA members, Jeff is especially well known for founding and chairing the Professional Organizational Development (POD) program—an initiative that earned him the nickname “The PODFather” for his dedication to creating long-term value for fellow sign professionals.

All of us at YESCO congratulate Jeff on the prestigious award and thank him for his decades of service and leadership.
