The presentation of the 2022 Neon Museum Glow Award was an exciting occasion. The gala took place at a special location: the grounds of the original Seigfried and Roy estate. The exotic home and gardens were opened that night for the Museum’s most important fundraising event of the season. Guests strolled paths and buildings once trod by Seigfried and Roy’s famous tigers.

The recipient of the 2022 Glow Award was Barbara Molasky, founding president of the Neon Museum. During her acceptance speech, Mrs. Molasky spoke of her ongoing interest in the expansion and preservation of the Museum’s collection, and told the story of a late-night trip to the top of the restored Hacienda Caballero sign.

YESCO designer Stephen Shortell used a photo of Mrs. Molasky and her daughter atop the historic sign as inspiration for his 2022 concept. YESCO fabricators brought the full-illuminated trophy to life. It was a thrill for us when Neon Museum’s Executive Director Aaron Berger presented the award to Barbara Molasky.
