Woohoo: YESCO is 92!
March 16, 2012—Happy Birthday to Us! Ninety-two years. We are filled with gratitude for our clients, our franchisees, our employees, our friends and families. It’s an amazing honor to be a thriving business 92 years after our founding by Thomas Young.
Our tenth decade began with a big bash for our 90th Anniversary in 2010, and since then we haven’t been resting on our laurels.
The past two years have been exciting and fulfilling. We began a great service and lighting franchise effort that has led to welcoming some awesome new people into our organization. These franchises make YESCO’s pacesetting sign and lighting maintenance and repair services even more convenient to customers in numerous geographic areas.
We’ve been involved in some wonderful sign and lighting projects. One of our highest visibility projects so far in our tenth decade is the GM Renaissance Center in Detroit. This massive and complex operation will go down in company history as a huge accomplishment for us.
Other good work we’ve enjoyed includes the Sahara Express bus transit shelters in Las Vegas, the Shops at Riverwoods sign with message center in Orem, Utah, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino signage in Hollywood, Florida, creative outdoor media campaigns throughout the West, the intricate and fascinating Adverb Wall at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, and Piccadilly Circus spectacular displays in London’s West End among many others.
Today YESCO has approximately 1,500 employees, 43 offices and operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing plants. YESCO’s total of more than 840,000 square feet of plant and offices allow us to serve customers in an efficient manner. Our values-driven philosophy combined with a longstanding commitment to doing things right, means that all of our clients−regardless of the size of their projects−are treated with the integrity they deserve.
Here’s wishing our clients, our franchisees, our employees and friends a great year ahead.
